For Over twenty years, a group of us who were directly involved have marked May 9th by maintaining awareness of the events as well as the issues of stadium safety.
Founded after the May 9th, 2001 stadium disaster that occurred in Accra, Ghana, our aim is to be the catalyst for change in our community and society as a whole by bringing awareness to the victims of this disaster and the families of the departed left behind. Over the years, we’ve widened the scope to include providing emergency medical assistance to children, support to persons affected by natural disasters, and the deprived in society who need a helping hand to emerge from the rut they are in. This is achieved by making the plight of the people we seek to help known to corporate institutions, individuals, and the large society and encouraging them to contribute to making life a little better for them. Sadly, not everyone can be helped but those who come to us will never be turned away.
Our greatness lies in how pure our hearts are and how capable our pure hearts can drive us to extend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in need.
